If this is not one of the ideal ice breaking Kauai activities then I don’t know what is. This essentially allows you to savor the flavors of the island right on your very first night. Another one of the recommended Kauai activities would be the narrated tram tour of the gardens. This is a more relaxed way to get around to some of the beautiful foliage that the island has to offer. You may also leisurely stroll across pathways filled with tropical trees towards lagoons that are seething with fishes and exotic peacocks. This activity virtually gives you a deeper insight into the beauty of this tropical haven.
If you are up to it, there are bundled Kauai activities which will truly fill up a crazy and fun day with the entire family. You can start by kayaking on a jungle stream through the Huleia River. You can tie your kayaks at the point where the river becomes shallow and hike towards a beautiful waterfalls with a matching swimming hole. As part of one of the recommended Kauai activities it also allows you to go on a wagon ranch across the Kipu Ranch going to the Kampaua’a Falls trail leading to a fabulous picnic spot. You can take your lunch here surrounded by nothing but nature.
Make sure that you have thoroughly digested your food before attempting to proceed to one of the most enjoyable Kauai activities, the 800-foot zip line. This zip line will take you across a waterfall and a river, and then you will have to make it back on foot until you reach the starting point at the suspension bridge. From there you can enjoy one of the favored Kauai activities which is a trek through the forest foliage up to the Blue Pool where you can swim with your family. The cruise back downriver is equally exciting as you cover a jungle trail while onboard a twin-hulled Hawaiian canoe.
For one of the more relaxed Kauai activities, you may want to visit the Huleia National Wildlife Refuge. All in all, a trip to the Garden Isle will never be complete without trying these Kauai activities.
